The Executive Oversight Committee (EOC) provides an opportunity for a collaborative approach to share information among the four government agencies overseeing the development of the H2H project. The EOC is composed of the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Central Regional Director, the Mayor of the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA), the Regional Administrator for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and the Alaska Division Administrator for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Each agency brings unique expertise, authority, and responsibilities to the project. The EOC will provide an unprecedented (in Alaska) coordination and consultation opportunity to identify issues, provide resources and authority, and coordinate those resources to ensure a successful project.

How does the EOC operate?
The EOC is a coordination group that informs the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process. The EOC meets in person (or via teleconference) approximately quarterly.
Does an EOC exist for every transportation project?
No. The EOC was formed due to the scale of the H2H project. The H2H project is one of the largest and most complex transportation projects Anchorage has seen in years. The EOC provides a unique coordination and consultation opportunity for the project team to ensure a successful project development process.
Are EOC meetings open to the public?
EOC meetings are open to the public.
